Robert Carpenter joined SBA.s Finance Division in 1993 as a
Loan Specialist and in this capacity he assists in the
financial analysis of loan applications, determining
eligibility and compliance with SBA policies and
regulations, and making recommendations for SBA.s issuance
of loan guarantees. Mr. Carpenter provides training for area
lenders and business owners. Robert holds a Bachelor degree
in Business Management from the University of Maryland,
major in Marketing and minor in Civil Engineering.
Abstract of Presentation/Publication
This session will provide the attendees information on the
U.S. Small Business Administration.s programs that provide
access to capital to America.s small businesses. Topics
will include overviews of the 7(a) guaranty loan program and
sub-programs, and the 504 fixed asset acquisition program,
including discussions on eligibility, interest rates, terms,
and information on the application process.
