Abstract of Presentation/Publication
"Angel investors", individuals who invest their own money in
private companies, are often the first source of capital for
early stage biotech enterprises. What do angel investors
want? What do they get for their investment? What do angel
investors risk in a biotech investment? This talk will focus
on the role of the angel investor and discuss the interests
and trends in this investment sector. This presentation
should provide entrepreneurs with a better idea of how to go
about getting that first round of investment capital.
