Michael P. Norcio is the Chairman and Chief Executive
Officer of MAR, Incorporated (MAR), headquartered in
Rockville, Maryland. In his role at MAR, Mr. Norcio is
responsible for all of the technical management and
marketing activities of the firm; through interaction with
customers he addresses performance issues and identifies new
revenue opportunities. Mr. Norcio received his MBA from
Marymount University in 1981.

Many biotechnology companies possess specialized
competencies in goods or services that may be in demand in
the marketplace. Often, however, these companies are not
able to generate revenue from these capabilities due to an
inability to market their potential products selectively.
MAR Incorporated is a professional services firm
specializing in providing solutions in several commercial
areas including Biotechnology, Information Technology (IT),
and Homeland Defense Programs. During the company.s 32-year
history MAR has administered over 600 contracts/subcontracts
and 1300 delivery orders with a total funded value of over
$450M. MAR.s business focus and examples of subcontracting
opportunities for biotechnology companies through MAR will
be discussed.
